Reservations/Payment Policy/Payment
To make a reservation, contact Fox Safaris.
A deposit of $500.00 per person is required to secure a confirmed reservation. The final balance is due no later than 90 days prior to commencement of trip. Some trips require interim payments. All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date. Upon full payment by the participant of the amount specified (see Invoice), Fox Safaris agrees to arrange for the provision of the services as described in this website and as modified by supplementary materials. Payment of deposit constitutes agreement to the Terms and Conditions.
Initial deposit must be made by check. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks are all acceptable forms of payment for the balance. All payments made by check should be made payable to Fox Safaris.
Cancellation Policy/Revisions/Changes
All cancellations must be in writing. The following cancellation charges will be assessed for all written cancellations received prior to departure up to the scheduled time of departure.

Cancellations fees may vary for Custom Designed safaris or for any trip booked with another travel company/tour operator. Such cancellation fees will be detailed in the initial Invoice.
Should any reservation include international airfare, the airline’s cancellation policies shall apply. If cancellation occurs after the receipt of an airline ticket, any refunds will be processed after the return of the airline ticket.
Once a deposit has been received, all changes and revisions initiated by the participant are subject to a minimal $50.00 charge per change. Any changes made within 30 days prior to departure may be subject to cancellation fees.
Documents/Travel Documentation/Visas
Documents will be issued approximately 3 weeks prior to departure.
All participants must have passports valid for six months following arrival at destination and any necessary visas required by the countries being visited. Although Fox Safaris will provide participants with information about required visas, this information can change without notice. Participants are advised to check with U.S. Consulate Service and embassies of the countries to be visited to determine which documents they must obtain. If incorrect documents are obtained, participants may be denied entry into certain countries. Note: Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match your airline ticket name or you may be denied boarding. Fox Safaris accepts no responsibility for obtaining required visas or for advising participants of visa or other immigration requirements.
Physically Challenged Participants/Children/Medical Care
We welcome participants with special needs. Participants who have any medical, physical, dietary or other special needs must advise Fox Safaris at time of booking. If you fail to disclose any such conditions, Fox Safaris may refuse to allow you to take the trip and you will forfeit the trip cost; and in such event we shall have no liability, financial or otherwise. Lodges, hotels and all modes of transportation may not be equipped to accommodate physically challenged participants and staff may not be available on-site to assist physically challenged participants. Accordingly, a physically challenged participant should be accompanied by a responsible adult to provide such assistance.
If you fail to disclose any such conditions, Fox Safaris may refuse to allow you to take the trip and you will forfeit the trip cost; and in such event we shall have no liability, financial or otherwise.
Lodges, hotels and all modes of transportation may not be equipped to accommodate physically challenged participants and staff may not be available on-site to assist physically challenged participants. Accordingly, a physically challenged participant should be accompanied by a responsible adult to provide such assistance.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and share lodging with a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 18. Children under 12 years of age can only be booked on Family or Private itineraries.
Fox Safaris is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment you may require during the trip. Under no circumstances is Fox Safaris responsible for the quality of medical care, or lack thereof, you may receive while on the trip.
Operators
Fox Safaris trips are operated by various independent ground operators at the destination. Fox Safaris acts solely as a Sales Agent/Preferred Supplier for these operators. Fox Safaris neither owns nor operates any of the lodges, hotels or modes of transportation described herein and thus assumes no responsibility or liability for acts or omissions of the operators in regard to the trips described herein.
Responsibility/Acts of God, Strike, or Other Conditions Beyond Control/Refusal of Passage
Fox Safaris accepts no liability or responsibility, whether occasioned by railroad, motorcoach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other conveyance, for any injury, damages,loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect, through the acts or defaults of any company or person, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour, as a result of any cause beyond the control of Fox Safaris. Participants specifically release Fox Safaris from any and all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property or from personal injuries or death, or from loss or delay, arising out of the acts, omissions or negligence of any independent contractors, such as air carriers, hotels, tour operators, restaurateurs, transportation providers, medical personnel or other providers of services or facilities. All arrangements made for participants with independent contractors, including medical services, are made solely for convenience to participants and are done at the participant’s own risk. Medical personnel are independent contractors. Tickets, vouchers, and any other travel documents are subject to all terms and conditions of the respective suppliers (some of which may limit supplier’s liability). Under no circumstances shall Fox Safaris be construed as a carrier under a contract for safe carriage of the passenger or his or her belongings.
Neither Fox Safaris nor the operators shall be liable for delay or inability to perform any service caused by or arising out of strikes, lockout or labor difficulties or shortages whether or not the Carrier is party thereto, or breakdown or failure of any mode of transportation howsoever any may arise or be caused, or civil commotion, riot, insurrection, war, government restraint, requisitioning, political disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, inability to secure or failure of supplies including fuel, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond their control.Neither Fox Safaris nor the operators shall be liable for delay or inability to perform any service caused by or arising out of strikes, lockout or labor difficulties or shortages whether or not the Carrier is party thereto, or breakdown or failure of any mode of transportation howsoever any may arise or be caused, or civil commotion, riot, insurrection, war, government restraint, requisitioning, political disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, inability to secure or failure of supplies including fuel, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond their control.
Fox Safaris shall not be required to refund any amount paid by any participant who must leave the tour prematurely for any reason, nor shall Fox Safaris or the operators be responsible for the lodging, meals, return transportation or other expenses incurred by such participant. Fox Safaris or the operator reserves the right to refuse to accommodate any participant if, for any reason in their sole judgment, accommodating that participant is deemed a danger or disturbance to the safety and enjoyment of other participants. For the same reasons, Fox Safaris or the operator may dismiss a participant from the trip at any time during the trip.
Fox Safaris shall not be required to refund any amount paid by any participant who must leave the tour prematurely for any reason, nor shall Fox Safaris or the operators be responsible for the lodging, meals, return transportation or other expenses incurred by such participant. Advanced, Cancelled, or Delayed Departures
Fox Safaris reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel a tour or to make changes in the itinerary and accommodations whenever, in its sole judgment, or in the judgment of the operator, conditions warrant it. Operators may, at any time, cancel, advance or postpone any scheduled tour and may, but is not obliged to, substitute another itinerary and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to participants by reason of any such cancellation, advancement or postponement.
Itineraries, Prices and Increases
Itineraries are subject to change and may need to be altered or cancelled. Prices are subject to change with or without notice. Adjustments for currency valuations may apply. Optional excursions/tours, excess baggage charges, drinks; beverages and meals not included in the package are additional costs to the participant.
PRIVACY POLICY
Fox Safaris is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Fox Safaris website and governs its data collection, usage and services. This privacy policy also discloses how we collect, protect, use and share information gathered about you on our website.
Information We Collect
You can use our website without divulging any personally identifiable information including your email address. Our website does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals except when such individuals specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis, such as when registering for email updates or requesting a brochure. Fox Safaris uses such information collected to improve and customize the content you see, to provide the products or services you request and to contact you about special promotions and new products.
Personal Information
Fox Safaris may collect personally identifiable information on the site, which you can choose to provide at your own discretion. This information will be used to send you news and promotional offers either via email or regular mail. Generally, “non-personally identifiable information” means information that is collected through “traffic data” and may entail the use of “cookies,” “IP addresses,” “pixel tags” or other numeric codes used to identify a computer or monitor how or when a user accesses the website or communications. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our website, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, used to notify visitors about updates to our website, and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
Children
Fox Safaris does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, your parents are responsible for approving your use of this site.
